Loyal Companions Property Management LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the tenant portal at app.loyalcompanionspm.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

Contact information: name, email address, and phone number as provided by your landlord during lease setup or by you in the tenant portal.
Lease information: property address, lease term, rent amounts, and charge schedules extracted from your signed lease agreement.
Payment information: bank account details (linked via Stripe Financial Connections) and payment history. We do not store your bank credentials — Stripe handles all financial data securely.
Usage data: login timestamps and pages visited within the portal for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

To display your lease details, charges, and payment history in the tenant portal.
To process rent payments and security deposits via ACH bank transfer.
To send you email and SMS notifications including payment reminders, payment confirmations, overdue notices, and autopay alerts.
To communicate with you about your lease or account.

SMS Messaging

When you provide your phone number during lease signing or in the tenant portal, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Loyal Companions Property Management related to your rent payments and lease. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of your lease or of any purchase. Message types include:

Payment reminders (7 days and 2 days before due date)
Payment confirmations when your payment is received
Payment failure alerts if a transaction does not process
Overdue notices for past-due charges

Message frequency: Varies based on your payment schedule. Typically 2-6 messages per month.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; phone numbers and SMS consent will not be shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party for their own use. Information may be shared with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages described above.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with:

Stripe — to process payments securely.
Twilio — to deliver SMS notifications.
Resend — to deliver email notifications.
Your landlord/property owner — who can view your payment status and lease information through the admin portal.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All connections use HTTPS encryption. Payment information is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We do not store your bank account credentials on our servers.

Data Retention

We retain your information for the duration of your lease and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
